PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – An All-American as a sophomore and all-conference this season, Pitt linebacker Kyle Louis announces he is forgoing his final year of eligibility and entering the NFL Draft. He will not play in the Military Bowl next week.
“Coming to this school has given me nothing but opportunities and friendships that I will forever be thankful for,” Louis said in a post on social media. “I want to thank Coach Narduzzi, Coach Manalac, and the entire staff for believing in me.”
The New Jersey native also thanked the training staff and strength coaches and said the reason he always played hard was his teammates, with whom he built a bond for life.
“I’ve decided to declare for the 2026 NFL Draft and pursue my dream of playing at the next level,” Louis added in his post. “From the kid struggling with where I fit in, to the man standing here now—confident and ready for what’s next—I want to say thank you, Pitt. I’m forever grateful.”
Louis finished his Pitt career with 201, 25.5 tackles for loss, 10 sacks, six interceptions, two forced fumbles and a blocked kick.
