PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – He goes from protecting the blind side of Panthers record-setting quarterback Kenny Pickett to potentially doing the same for future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers.
Pitt left tackle Carter Warren picked by the New York Jets in the fourth round on Saturday.
Warren started 39 games at left tackle at Pitt playing in the East-West Shrine Bowl after being limited to four games his final season after meniscus surgery. The 6'5", 325-pounder started all games at left tackle for an offense that averaged 41.4 points and nearly 487 yards per game in 2021. The New Jersey native dominant in the biggest games, including being named ACC Offensive Lineman of the Week for what he did in the win against Clemson.
The 6'5", 316-pound Warren came back for a final season after helping the Panthers win the ACC Championship. Now he is back close to home and on a rising team with a legendary QB.
