
The Penguins have made a trade right before the NHL trade deadline.

According to several sources, the Penguins have acquired right winger Rickard Rakell from the Anaheim Ducks.
The Penguins are reportedly sending a prospect and a second round draft pick to Anaheim for Rakell. Roster players may also be sent to the Ducks. TSN’s Bob McKenzie says those players Zach Aston-Reese and Dominik Simon
In 51 games this season, Rakell has 16 goals and 12 assists for the Ducks.
The 6-foot-1, 195lb winger was taken in the first round of the 2011 draft by the Ducks and has played in Anaheim since.
The cap hit for Rakell is $3.7 million this season and is an unrestricted free agent this coming off season.
Rakell could be a solid third line winger or may even be paired with Evgeni Malkin on the second line.
