PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) — The Pittsburgh Pirates announced Sunday that infielder Colin Moran had been reinstated after a stay on the 10-day injured list.
Moran was initially put on the injured list for rehab back on May 9.
And in his three rehab games with Triple-A Indianapolis, he was 3 for 9 with one home run and six RBI.
Austin Davis, too, was announced to have returned from rehab.
The left-handed pitcher was reinstated from the 60-day injury list and had been there since the start of the season while he nursed a left elbow sprain.
Davis also did his rehab games with Indianapolis but appeared in five games.
During that span, he struck out 10 batters without a hit.
Additionally, Davis also had two rehab games with Low-A Bradenton preceding those with Indianapolis.
In the corresponding roster moves, infielder Cole Tucker was optioned to Indianapolis.
Tucker was 2 for 15 with an RBI in three starts with the Pirates.
Right-handed pitcher Mitch Keller was added to the injured list.
