Pickens says he's playing just like every other WR in NFL

Steelers wide receiver George Pickens continues to believe he has a target on his back by NFL officials.

Speaking to reporters on Friday, Pickens said he's doing the same celebration of other receivers and he is getting penalized.

The play in question was when Pickens was flagged for making a gun-like gesture after a 36-yard catch against Cincinnati last week.

Pickens also said that he doesn't have any concerns about players on opposing teams getting under his skin, because they aren't able to do it.

So, where do the flags come from?

"It comes from me playing hard," said Pickens. "When you're playing hard and the league has a target on your back then you possibly, I'm not saying 100 percent, but you could possibly get flags."

He was then asked if he does think he has a target on his back.

"I don't know . . . I hope not, I'm just playing like every other receiver," said Pickens.

Sunday should be interesting, but then again, when is it not interesting when Pickens takes the field.
