The Steelers made several rosters moves on Thursday, signing two players and releasing another.
The Steeler announced linebacker Jamin Davis and tight end Robert Tonyan have signed one-year deals. Both were tryouts during minicamp.
The Steelers also released tight end Chamon Metayer.
Taken in the first-round of the 2021 draft by Washington, Davis spent four seasons with the Commanders along with brief stays in Minnesota and most recently Las Vegas.
Davis has appeared in 56 total games with 37 starts. He has one interception and 290 total tackles.
The 32-year-old Tonyan has eight seasons in the NFL, his first five in Green Bay before stints in Chicago, Minnesota and Kansas City.
Tonyan has appeared in 107 games with 149 catches for 1,550 yards and 17 touchdowns.
