PITTSBURGH (93.7 the Fan) According to agent Mike McCartney, the Pittsburgh Steelers are acquiring a new linebacker ahead of the start of the regular season.
The Denver Broncos are sending Malik Reed to Pittsburgh for late draft-pick compensation.
With the Broncos in 2022, Reed appeared in 14 games and collected 43 combined tackles and 24 solo.
In three seasons with Denver, Reed collected 15 career sacks and should benefit the Steelers defense.
The exact return going to Denver is not immediately clear, but adding a depth defender who can make tackles for a late-round draft pick is a great move.
