'This guy sucks' Snoop Dogg's comments on Todd Haley ring true for Canada

The rapper's comments from 2014 are making a comeback

Monday has been a brutal day for Matt Canada.

The Steelers offensive coordinator is being blasted all over social media for his lack of creativity and seeming willingness to take a chance after the offense struggled to score again, this time against the Patriots in a 17-14 loss at Acrisure Stadium.

The play calling seemed to be pretty much the same from last year when a 39-year-old and immobile Ben Roethlisberger was at the helm.

It was hard to judge Canada at the time, since critics figured he was adjusting his schemes to adapt to Roethlisberger’s strengths.

But two games in and only two offensive touchdowns, it’s been much of the same for Canada’s offensive play calling. Now with a younger and more mobile Mitch Trubisky at quarterback you’d think he’d spice things up a little and take some different chances, but it’s been the copy and paste plays from last year.

Remember when they said they ran out of plays!?

His play calling was even called out by some of his players after the game, with The Athletic posting this tweet.

Several people reposted a NSFW video of Snoop Dogg back in 2014 when he wanted Mike Tomlin to fire then offensive coordinator Todd Haley.

“Man, the Pittsburgh Steelers need a new f***in’ offensive coordinator, this guy sucks,” said Snoop. “Coach Tomlin, this is Snoop Dogg man, fire that mother f**ka and get us a real offensive coordinator.”

The comments may be eight-years-old, but some things never change.
