Toya Beasley

Toya Beasley is a legendary voice in New York radio, currently hosting Inspirations On The Block every Sunday from 6–8 a.m. on 94.7 The Block. Her show blends gospel throwbacks, heartfelt interviews, and faith-forward commentary—offering a weekly reset for the soul.

A trailblazer, Toya began her career at WRKS-FM (98.7 KISS-FM) in 1989, rising to become the station’s first female Program Director. She helped shape iconic programs like The KISS Wake-Up Club, The Donnie McClurkin Show, and The Hour of Power with Rev. Al Sharpton, and co-founded the KISS Inspirations Choir.

Her community impact extends far beyond the airwaves. She’s a sought-after speaker and emcee, as well as the Creator and Executive Producer of the Stellar Women of Gospel Awards. Toya has been honored with the Billboard Awards, the NYSBA’s Outstanding Public Service Award, and a Key to the City of New York for her Night of Healing series following 9/11.
