It’s Primary Day in California, and all eyes are on the governor’s race.

It’s a crowded field with more than 60 people vying for the position, and some polls have Democrats Xavier Becerra and Tom Steyer and Republican Steve Hilton in the top spots.

Another closely watched race today is the Los Angeles mayor’s race, where incumbent Karen Bass faces off against City Councilmember Nithya Raman and reality TV star Spencer Pratt.

Voters in L.A. County also get a chance to weigh in on two seats for the Board of Supervisors, Sheriff, and County Assessor.

There's also the newly redrawn District 40 election which pits Republican Congresswoman Young Kim against Republican Congressman Ken Calvert.

Ballots can be dropped off at the county elections office or at one of more than 400 official drop boxes.

Voting centers are open until 8 p.m. If you mailed in your ballot already, you can check the status online HERE.
