Hartford, Conn./WTIC Radio - Hartford police have arrested four city men on illegal dumping charges.
Police say the arrests are the culimination of a months-long investigation.
They'd received numerous reports from residents of dumping along the areas of Bartholomew Avenue, Wellington Street and Olive Street.
Under arrest are Loinell Keith, 45, Craig Batchelor, 64, Noel Cruz, 51 and Tiago Fernandes de Silva, 25, all from Hartford.
Among the items found discarded: mattresses, box springs, construction debris, various types of trash and tires.
All are facing charges of illegal dumping of litter/garbage and illegal dumping of bulky/hazardous waste.
