Officers responded to Town Hall on a report of a male bleeding heavily.
Police determined he'd been assaulted at a residence on Spring Street.
Now, Timothy Lindsay, 32, is facing charged.
Investigators say the victim was stabbed with a knife.
Lindsay is facing charges of assault and carrying a dangerous weapon.
Bond was set at $750,000.
No word yet on a motive for the stabbing.
