Farmington, Conn./WTIC Radio - A suspect is under arrest after engaging Farmington police in a pursuit earlier today.
The incident occurred around 12:30 p.m., police said.
Officers attempted to stop the 34-year-old suspect on a felony arrest warrant.
Police say the man rammed a Farmington police cruiser several times.
The pursuit ended on Farmington Avenue near Main Street, after which the suspect was captured following a brief foot chase.
A Farmington police officer was transtported to the hospital for an injury sustained during the pursuit.
The suspect, whose name was not released, was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
There's no word yet on any charges.
Investigators say the investigation remains active and anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact Farmington Police.
