New Haven, Conn./WTIC Radio - State police say a pedestrian was killed Tuesday morning on Interstate 95 southbound in New Haven.
Troopers say around 5:30, Alexis Vincente, 55, of Union City, New Jersey was struck while stopped and outside his tractor trailer on the exit 46 off-ramp.
Vincente was rushed to the hospital and later pronounced dead.
The driver of the second vehicle was not injured.
Investigators haven't figured out why Vincente was outside his rig.
The investigation is ongoing.
