Norwich, Conn./WTIC Radio - Police in Norwich have made an arrest in connection with the drug related death of another individual over a year ago.
It was December 30th, 2023 that officers, fire, and ambulance personnel were called to a city address on a report of an unresponsive male.
The person was later pronounced dead at the scene.
An autopsy indicated the victim died from an overdose of fentanyl and cocaine.
In the ensuing months, Norwich and State Police worked the case, developing leads that led to the arrest of Desiree Greene, 34.
Detectives say she supplied the lethal dose of drugs to the victim.
Greene, who was already behind bars, is charged with manslaughter and sale of narcotics.
