"This is a game of the left, they make allegations, and then you come in and say you deny them, the fact is these are false," says Senate Candidate Eric Greitens about allegations of abuse made by his second ex-wife Sheena Greitens. "And they're provably false."
"What a coincidence, what a coincidence that on the very week, the very week when William Tisaby pleads guilty, on the very week when we're gonna be exonerated [and] every one is going to see this entire criminal conspiracy that [George] Soros funded come crashing down, on that very week they release another series of terrible false allegations," declares Greitens, "it's not just me saying that they're false, Marc, anyone with any common sense knows they're false."
Greitens claims "political operatives" in Washington DC last week were working on and planning to release the abuse allegations to the press.
"We also now know, and the story should come out, I hope in the next 24-48 hours, exactly who the political operatives were who were working on that story, and exactly who the political operatives were who it was handed to," says Greitens.
Fellow US Senate Candidate, Congressman Billy Long admits the timing is “suspect” but says there’s a long way to go in the primary.
“If the allegations are true, he’s not fit to serve in the United States Senate; if they’re not I think it’s going to embolden his base,” says Rep. Long.
