In a shocking move, the Minnesota Timberwolves have announced they have dismissed President of Basketball Operations and General Manager Gersson Rosas.
In a statement released on the team's public relations department Twitter, Glen Taylor said:
“Today, the Minnesota Timberwovles parted ways with President of Basketball Operations Gersson Rosas. As an organization, we remain committed to building a winning team that our fans and city can be proud of.”

The moves come a little under a week before training camp starts.
According to Star Tribune Timberwolves writer Chris Hine, there has been a riff between the rest of the organization and Rosas for some time and that this move isn't a surprise.
Timberwolves star center Karl-Anthony Towns tweeted this out shortly after the announcement
