The Aztecs bounced back from a disappointing loss at New Mexico on Saturday with a 15-point win against Colorado State at Viejas Arena on Tuesday night. Miles Byrd was outstanding, scoring 25 points on 8 of 15 shooting, including five three-pointers, to go with six rebounds and a whopping seven steals. SDSU held a six point lead at the half, and outscored the Buffaloes by nine in the second half, cruising to a 75-60 win over their conference foe. Where the Aztecs really made a difference was on defense, as they forced twice as many turnovers as CSU and totaled 22 points off those turnovers. San Diego State improved to 11-4 (4-2) with the win, and will host UNLV on Saturday night.
