Usually, if someone is way too intoxicated on a plane the authorities will remove them from the flight. What if the drunk person at the airport isn’t on the plane at all, though?
An Oklahoma woman was recently arrested after she was caught driving drunk on a runway at the Tulsa Riverside Airport.
According to 2 News, Air Traffic Control notified the police saying that a Nissan was blocking a runway where a plane was currently trying to land.
Another pilot approached the vehicle and found it to be full of beer cans so he reached into the car and took the keys.
The driver, Bonnie Campbell, reportedly had a .34 BAC, more than four times the legal limit to drive.
She is facing charges of felony aggravated DUI.
