At 102-years-old, this great-grandma is in fantastic shape!
Julia Fulkerson, an Arizona resident, decided to join her great-grandson Brody’s virtual gym class. Last week, the 102-year-old reunited with the 6-year-old after spending time apart due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Angela Groch, Brody’s mother, knew it was the perfect opportunity to film the heartwarming moment.
“I was cracking up and taking video after video, but it was also super surreal just kind of watching,” Groch told KPHO.
In the video, Fulkerson is seen dancing and waving her arms during the gym class. Her great-grandson can be seen moving around and laughing while he sees her joining in on the fun.
Recently, Groch and her husband received the COVID-19 vaccine and decided to bring his son to see his great-grandma.
Brody was ecstatic to see his great-grandma join in on the fun. “Great-grandma was like dancing around and doing the PE exercise,” Brody said.
So far, the video has garnered over 400,000 views, and Groch said she is happy that social media users are enjoying the moment as well.
One user commented, “If she can do it then what about me. What’s my excuse? LOL.”
Another person wrote, “This makes my heart happy.”
