A family in Baton Rouge was shocked to find $50 billion mistakenly deposited into their bank account.
Darren James could not believe it when his wife told him she had found the impossible bank deposit as multiple outlets including BR Proud and Newsweek report.
"It was crazy just to see what it looks like because I've never seen that many zeros in my life," James told BR Proud. "I wasn't going to keep it. The thing that was most baffling was we do not even know where it came from. We don't know anybody with that kind of money."
James immediately called the bank to report the $50 billion mistake.
The family took screenshots of their bank account to remember the rare mistake that briefly had them, billionaires.
The bank quickly reversed the transaction.
