An Upstate teenager is in custody on a list of charges after being accused of sex crimes against children. The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office says their Special Victims Unit launched an investigation last August and identified five potential victims in the case.
Two of those five were able to credibly confirm the suspicions of investigators. On Wednesday, 18 year old Zyran Izae Stroble of Spartanburg was arrested on charges of 1st degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor, first and second degree attempted criminal sexual conduct with a minor, and 10 counts of 3rd degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
Investigators say Stroble's cell phone contained countless images of child porn and some of the children were as young as five to seven years old. Stroble is being held at the Spartanburg County Detention Center.
