In less than a week two now former employees at one Upstate jail have been arrested. The latest arrest comes after the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office says a Med Tech employee smuggled contraband into the jail and passed it along to inmates housed there.
Ivey Martin is accused of bringing in tobacco, prescription medication, vapes and other contraband. She was arrested late last week after she was questioned and confessed.
The Sheriff's Office says Martin admitted to bringing contraband in on at least three occasions in the last 6 months. Martin was fired and booked following her confession
