Local, state and federal law enforcement officers as well as residents of upstate South Carolina today attended a memorial service at the Greenville County Law Enforcement Center.

The ceremony recognized the officers who have paid the ultimate price while protecting citizens of Greenville County.

Representatives from the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office, Greenville City Police Department, and the South Carolina Highway Patrol were present for the Law Enforcement Memorial Service.

During the service, Captain Michael Carson with SC Highway Patrol read a memorial roll call for all of the Greenville law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty.

The Blood Connection will be conducting an on-site blood drive from 11am – 4pm, in the front parking lot of the Greenville County Law Enforcement Center.

Everyone is encouraged to pay tribute to these fallen officers by giving blood and saving the lives of others.
