A man described as a career criminal will spend the next two decades behind bars after burglarizing an Upstate home. In 2022, a home in Clinton was broken into and a TV and stereo system were stolen.
Surveillance video showed the suspect 58 year old, Davlin Jerome Goggins inside the home. Goggins has now entered guilty pleas to charges 1st degree burglary and petit larceny stemming from the incident, per the 8th Circuit Solicitor's Office.
Goggins has been sentenced to twenty years in the state prison system. His lifetime of crime goes back 4 decades with his 1st conviction back in 1984.
