
Governor Henry McMaster has announced a new 13th Circuit Solicitor following previous solicitor Walt Wilkins' resignation announcement last month.
In an executive order, McMaster has appointed Cindy S. Crick as Wilkins' replacement.
Crick originally graduated from Hollins College and later acquired her juris doctorate from the USC School of Law. She has sinse served as Assistant Solicitor in the state's Seventh Circuit from 2011 to 2019 before starting her own law practice in Greenville back in 2020.
"I appreciate the incredible responsibility that comes with this appointment. I assure you I will work hard every single day, with visibility and transparency, to carry out my duties ethically and with integrity. It is my goal that the Thirteenth Circuit Solicitor's Office serves as the model for the fair administration of justice statewide."
