A Clemson Football player has been suspended from action after being arrested over the weekend. Head Coach Dabo Swinney says Defensive Lineman Vic Burley has been suspended.
This came after Swinney was notified that Burley had been arrested for disorderly conduct, early Saturday morning. Burley saw action in 13 games for the Tigers last season and was expected by many to have a larger role coming into this season. Swinney had had positive remarks about Burley's performance in camp up until this point.
Burley is said to be suspended indefinitely. At this point, there's been no indication on if and when he will return to the field. Clemson opens their season on the road in Primetime against 11th ranked LSU, September 5th.
