An investigation is ongoing after a detainee at a Western North Carolina jail died, Wednesday.
Officials in Buncombe County say Christopher Morrow was arrested Tuesday night for allegedly tampering with a vehicle. Morrow was then found unconscious in his cell around 4AM, Wednesday.
He was taken to Mission Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The State Medical Examiner's Office is working to determine the cause and manner of Morrow's death.
