Released by the Anderson County Sheriff's Office.
On March 27 emergency personnel responded to the area of Highway 24 near Airport Road in reference to a automobile collision.
The collision contributed to the death of 20-year old Josephine Nunn of Anderson. The other vehicle involved fled the scene after the collision.
At this time ACSO detectives and forensic personnel are working with SCHP to investigate the incident. Detectives believe an early 2000’s Black or Blue Dodge Ram 1500 truck is connected to this case.
