Former Cop and Pro Wrestler from GA sentenced for child sex crimes

A former pro wrestler and gym owner from Georgia will spend more than a quarter century in prison for child sex crimes.

43 year old, Walter Joey Drew known as "Bolo" on the Georgia indie wrestling scene has been sentenced to 27 years in federal prison for the sexual exploitation of a number of underage victims.

Drew is a former law enforcement officer who worked for multiple agencies in Georgia. He also owned a gym in Toombs County, GA about 80 miles northwest of Savannah.

The U.S. DOJ says the victims included a 13 year old girl who Drew filmed while she was undressing at both at his home and gym. Court records show that the girl was a friend of Drew's teenage children. Drew was also accused of recording 6 other teenage children.

He also faces state charges in Toombs County and additional charges for similar conduct from when he lived in White County in North Georgia.
