A now former Midlands educator is facing a list of child sex crime charges. Former Richland County teacher Eric Favor Jr. was arrested in Marion County, back in February.
He's charged with 2nd and 3rd degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor, promoting the prostitution of a minor and criminal conspiracy. On Monday ,officials announced that the 29 year old is now also charged with exposing someone to HIV.
Favor taught Social Studies at Lower Richland High School. The investigation which started in 2024 involved two underaged victims.
He is being held without bond in Marion County.
