A now former Paramedic in the Upstate has been arrested and is accused of misconduct on the job. Late last year, Daniel Lee Fanning was on duty as a paramedic. SLED says, they investigated and found that he falsified the EMS report.
Investigators say Fanning went to a call for service at a house and allegedly touched the victim inappropriately. GPS records did show that Fanning had been at the victim's residence. Because Fanning was an Anderson County employee at the time, SLED was called into investigate.
Fanning was arrested on a 1st degree assault charge, Friday and was booked into the Anderson County Jail. No further details have been released, at this time.
