A Western North Carolina sheriff's office and federal agents have announced major drug arrested from last week. The U.S. Marshals and Buncombe County Sheriff's Office executed search warrants on a home in the town of Fairview. Four people were found at the home and were arrested.
41 year old Bobby Lee Jackson and 46 year old, Tammy Elizabeth Black were arrested for trafficking meth and various other drug charges. 33 year old, Lauren Michelle Rice was arrested for trafficking fentanyl, possession of meth and other charges. 27 year old, Simon Taylor Shelton was arrested on multiple outstanding warrants.
Deputies and agents also executed a search warrant at the Quality Inn on Tunnel Road in Asheville and seized over an ounce of fentanyl, a quarter ounce of cocaine, 5 grams of meth and over $900 in cash.
