
A fugitive wanted in North Carolina is now behind bars in the Upstate. The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office went to a home in Inman to locate the wanted fugitive, Thursday morning.
There they found 29 year old, Brian Thomas Griffin and took him into custody. Griffin was not only wanted but was suspected if stealing numerous guns in Anson County, North Carolina. After a search of the home in Inman, 10 guns were recovered.
Griffin is a registered sex offender in North Carolina and failed to notify authorities there when he moved to the Upstate. His prior convictions include charges of 1st degree rape, incest and assaulting a child in Union County, North Carolina.
His girlfriend Tasha Nicole Lancaster was also arrested in the incident yesterday and is charged with unlawful conduct towards a child.
