The Georgia National Guard will be helping ICE with enforcing immigration laws across the Peach State.
The State Department of Defense says ICE requested their assistance, this comes as immigration related arrests have exploded in Georgia.
The Department of Homeland Security estimates that Georgia has nearly 5,000 illegal immigrants currently living there. Immigration related arrests have reportedly increased by over 350% in Georgia over the last 4 years.
