A Grammy nominated recording artist has been arrested near the South Carolina Coast. The Horry County Police Department says 29 year old, Sidney Selby is charged with domestic violence and malicious damage to property.
Selby is better known as Grammy Award Nominated Rapper "Desiigner". He was arrested after police responded to a disturbance at a home near Conway, Wednesday. Selby allegedly chased a woman while holding a hammer. The woman told police that Selby smashed her phone with the hammer.
She then ran outside and Selby reportedly grabbed her and threw her down while she was holding a child. This is Selby's second domestic violence arrest in the last 4 months.
He was nominated for a Grammy in 2017 after his song "Panda" reached #1 on the billboard charts.
