A head on crash in the Upstate Thursday morning seems to be drug fueled. The Greenville County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a reckless driver on Highway 418 in Fountain Inn.
The Sheriff's Office says the driver failed to maintain their lane and hit multiple cars head on. Deputies then conducted a traffic stop and arrested the driver. A search of the vehicle uncovered more than 100 different pills and over 70 grams of mushrooms.
The Sheriff's Office has not released the identity of the driver or the charges against them, as of the time of this report. The incident remains under investigation.
