Spartanburg Authorities responded just before 8 o'clock Sunday evening to a reported death in Inman.
Sheriff's Deputies and Inman police were dispatched to a house on Bobo Drive at 7:45pm, where a death investigation began.
Traffic was blocked by law enforcement as the area was blocked off as the investigation began, and it was still blocked off as the investigation continued Monday morning.
Early Monday afternoon, authorities confirmed five deaths from gunshot wounds at the home. The Coroner's Office stated that four of the individuals were already dead when authorities arrived, and that the fifth passed during surgery.
Neither the Sheriff's Office nor Inman Police are saying anything about how it happened nor whether any suspect is being sought.
The Coroner told reporters on the scene Monday morning that attempts were being made to notify the victims' relatives before any details are released.
No identities have yet been named, as the investigation continues and the home remains blocked off, with roadblocks keeping traffic away.
