More details have been released after a fatal house fire in Greenville County. Deputies say the fire was reported at a home on Spring Street just after 12AM Thursday.
Firefighters discovered a man's body inside the home. Officials say 5 people were inside during the fire. The identity of the deceased has not been released, as of the time of this report.
The Fire Department says it did not appear that the smoking alarms inside the home were working, at the time of the fire. The Sheriff's Office says they don't believe foul play was involved. The identity of the deceased has not yet been released.
