The search is on for a juvenile suspect who fled from an Upstate medical facility, Friday. The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office responded to a medical facility on the 400 block of Floyd Road.
They say a suspect in the custody of the State Department of Juvenile Justice ran from the building while he was handcuffed to a crutch. A search is on for the suspect; it's believed that he had arranged a ride and was headed back to Union County, where he's originally from.
There's been no further information released. We plan to have more as new details emerge.
