Airports around the country and here in the Carolinas are declining to play a video from Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.

In the video, Noem points out that the shutdown of the federal government has impacted TSA operations and blames Democrats for the predicament.

The Asheville Airport has refused to play the video saying that it violates their policy prohibiting political messaging in the airport. TSA does fall under the Department of Homeland Security, and most of the agency's employees are required to still work during the shutdown.

The Greenville-Spartanburg Airport is not airing the video, saying that their digital screens are used to provide TSA instructions to passengers.

In the video, Noem claims "Democrats in Congress refuse to fund the federal government and most of our TSA employees are working without pay".
