Man arrested following investigation of fatal fire

Released by the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office.
On February 23, 2012 Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office Deputies and Fire Department units responded to a residential fire at 223 Lapear Drive.
The fire claimed the life of a 1 year old child.
As a result of the investigation into this incident by Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office Investigators charges have been filed on Mr. Ryan Foster who was in charge of caring for the children at the time of the fire.
Mr. Ryan was arrested yesterday for unlawful neglect of a child or helpless person.
