An investigation is ongoing after a man died from gunshot wounds at an Upstate hospital. The Greenwood County Coroner's Office responded to Self Regional Hospital around 12:45 Wednesday afternoon on a report that a man had been pronounced dead after being shot in the upper body.
The victim has been identified as, 27 year old Zanqurious Damil Hurley of Greenwood. His death has prompted a murder investigation by the Coroner's Office and Greenwood County Sheriff's Department.
No arrests or suspect information has been announced, as of the time of this report. More details are expected to be released, after an autopsy is performed on the victim later this week.
