A human trafficking operation discovered during the search for a missing WNC child.
A child that was previously reported missing from Maryland has been found in Asheville.
And at the same time, the Asheville Police Department said the search led the investigators to a human trafficking case.
22-year-old Oscar Yobani Solis-Berdou was arrested in the case for the abduction of the out-of-state child and was found to have an inappropriate sexual relationship with them.
Solis-Berdou is charged with abduction of a child, statutory rape of a child under 15 years of age, and human trafficking of a child victim and is being held on a $500,000 bond.
