Additional sex crime charges have been brought against a former Upstate teacher. As we previously reported, Micah Keith Lanford, a former teacher at Boiling Springs High School, was arrested last month on 8 counts of sexual battery with a student.
On Tuesday, he was charged with 16 more counts of that same crime. Thursday, investigators presented additional findings, and Lanford was charged with 14 more counts of sexual battery with a student and was also charged with two counts of 2nd degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor.
Lanford now faces a total of 40 charges.
