Multiple problems plagued one Upstate polling location and caused delays in the start of voting Tuesday morning. Poll workers at Chesnee Elementary School were unable to gain entry into the building until after the polls officially opened at 7AM.
Construction to the main entryways of the building caused the issues, as voters were lined up an hour prior to the polls opening. Log-in issues with the polling machines also contributed to the late start.
Officials and poll workers at the site were eventually able to get the issues resolved, after a delay of well over half an hour.
