A suspect is in custody after a fatal stabbing in Western North Carolina, last month. The Hendersonville Police Department responded to a reported stabbing at an intersection there, the night of December 23rd.
Upon arrival, officers found a man who had been stabbed multiple times. The victim has been identified as 50 year old, Kevin Deran Copelin. The suspect 34 year old, Willie Lee Brown III was then taken into custody.
Brown is charged with 1st degree murder and is being held without bond in Henderson County.
