No charges are being filed after a weekend incident in the Upstate involving a machete left multiple people injured.
As we previously reported, the Greenville County Sheriff's Office responded to the area of Dillon Drive just north of Greenville around 5:30 PM, Sunday.
Deputies arrived and found three victims. Two of them were taken to a hospital to be treated, after another person used a machete on them during a fight.
The Sheriff's Office originally stated that a suspect had been identified and a search was ongoing. However, on Monday afternoon the Sheriff's Office announced that no charges would be filed, as the victims had formally withdrawn their complaints.
