A North Carolina woman is dead after yet another shooting at an Upstate apartment complex. The fatal incident happened Tuesday at the University Commons Apartments in Greenwood.
Upon arrival, police found a woman dead from a gunshot wound. The Greenwood County Coroner's Office has identified the victim as, 40 year old Cynthia Coleman of Charlotte. Her death has been ruled a homicide.
Investigators believe the shooting stemmed from a domestic dispute. Police say, a suspect was taken into custody.
However, the suspect has not yet been identified and no charges have been announced, as of the time of this report. The incident remains under investigation by the Greenwood PD.
