One dead after head-on collision on Augusta Road

Another loss-of-control collision claimed the life of of one driver and sent another to the hospital Tuesday night.
Troopers say a minivan crossed the centerline and crashed head-on into a pickup on Augusta Road near Pelzer about 9:00 o'clock .
The woman driving the minivan was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, her identity withheld for now.
The driver of the pickup was taken to Prisma Health.
